MacLEOD, Mary Alice Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Thursday October 6, 2005 Alice MacLeod (nee MacKinnon) in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late William MacLeod. Loving mother of Anna Dandy of Vankleek Hill, Gordon (Myrtle) of Calgary, Grace Stimson (Bradley) of Carlsbad Springs, Merilyn Meldrum (Ray) of Ottawa, Robert of Calgary and Ruth Craig (Rod) of Nepean. Dearly loved grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret and Dorothy and her brothers Douglas and Alexander. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, (corner of Stanley Street) Vankleek Hill on Saturday October 8, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Sunday October 9, 2005 at Knox Presbyterian Church, 29 High Street Vankleek Hill at 2 p.m. Interment McLaughlin Cemetery, Vankleek Hill, Ontario. At the request of the family no flowers please, memorial donations to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation 1111 Ghislain Street Hawkesbury, Ontario K6A 3G5 would be appreciated.
