MacDONALD _ Mary Katharine (nee Weber) passed away peacefully on January 22, 2003 in Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1991, she will be fondly remembered by her son Craig (Shelley), grandchildren, Corbin, Nikkei and Kelsey, and the three remaining Weber sisters, Hilda, Vera and Rebecca (Bunny). Mary worked for B.C. Tel for 20 years in Kamloops, Prince George and Vancouver and remained a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America after she left. After leaving work Mary volunteered for many years at Vancouver General Hospital in the old Heather Pavilion. Grateful acknowledgment goes out to the staff and care givers at Purdy residence 2nd Floor who ensured that Mary's last days were peaceful and comfortable. Her analytical and structural strengths found an outlet in her bridge game, which she loved with a passion. An ardent football fan her insistent urging for the Lions to "go,go,go" illustrated her delight of the game and joy of being a fan. She will be missed dearly. No service by request.
