Obituary of Mary-M. Carter

ALBANY Deaconess (Mother) Mary Carter departed life on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital after a serious illness. Deaconess Carter was born in Martin, S.C. to the late Samuel and Hester Simmons. Wife of the late Amos Carter Sr. She is survived by her sons, Amos, Robert, Aaron, Michael Carter; daughters, Diane and Marie Carter; brother, Benjamin Odom. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Olive Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 236 North Pearl Street, Albany. Viewing hours will be at the church prior to services between the hours of 9:00-11:00 a.m. Interment, Memory's Garden, Colonie, N.Y.
