JOHNSON Mary Lue Johnson, a resident of 840 Bert Road Apt. E231, passed August 27, 2008. Mrs. Johnson was born on September 3, 1943 to the late Johnny D. Kelly and Annie Lue Joe in Canal Point, FL, where she attended school and went on to start a successful daycare center. She was a member of Church of God in Christ Temple, Bishop Nesbit, pastor. Mrs. Johnson is survived by a devoted family that includes sons, Karl Sparks Scurry, Kenneth King, Jerrald Monson; daughters, Verlean Chinnis, Karen Brissett. Predeceased son, Damon P. Johnson (Carol Johnson); 25 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Carthage Chapel Funeral Home and the interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
