Coleman, Mary Lucille KnightNov. 22, 1910 - Dec. 12, 2013Mary Lucille Knight Coleman, ('MaMa'), of Bradenton, passed away on December 12, 2013. She was born on Nov. 22, 1910 in Chase City, Virginia. She was graduated from Woman's College of N.C., Greensboro, and then became the Religious Director at Meredith College. She married "her sweetheart" Thomas Rupert Coleman in 1934, who predeceased her in 1998. They resided in Richmond, VA, Coral Gables, Lakeland, and Bradenton, FL. During retirement they served the Foreign Mission Board for several years in Turkey, Greece and Taiwan. Thereafter they spent half of each year at their cabin on Gingercake Mt., NC, her "slice of heaven on earth."She is survived by her son and his wife, Larry and Nancy Coleman, three granddaughters and their husbands; Kimberly and Mike Mulligan, Heather and Brett Cooley, Shannon and Ryan Young, and five great-grandchildren.
