Mary Lucille "Granny Cille" Hall, 93, Brownstown, died at 4:15 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, at Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker throughout her life. She had retired from the Brownstown School System, and went on to work for many years at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown as their door greeter. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always had kind words and a smile for those she met. Born Feb. 27, 1915, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Ann Baughman Hansome. On Oct. 23, 1933, in Jackson County, she married Harry Kenneth Hall, who preceded her in death on July 21, 1981. Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Patty (Gilbert) Hall, Medora; two sisters, Annabelle Weddle and Freida Chatterson, both of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Becky Sue Gillaspy, Seymour, Cathy Jo (Gary) Hackman, Vallonia and Barry Kenneth (Tami) Hall, Medora; 10 great-grandchildren, Daphne (Andy) Waskom, Tampico, Matthew (Kelley) Gillaspy, Seymour, Angie (Paul) Rennekamp, Seymour, K.C. (Melissa) Hackman, Upland, Jodi (Ben) Tiemeyer, Medora, Mark Gillaspy, Seymour, David (Bradie) Hall, Medora, Dirk Smith, Norman, Ashley (Dusty) Kiser, Medora, and Michelle Smith, Greenwood; 11 great-great-grandchildren, Brianna, Emma and Burke Gillaspy, Jalen, Kiernan and Quentin Tiemeyer, Jairdyn Kiser, Brady and Caden Waskom, Kinlee Hackman, and Paulton Rennekamp. She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Hall; one granddaughter, Mary Ann Smith; three sisters, Elizabeth Warren, Loid Owens and Lora Robbins; four brothers, John Hansome, Raymond Hansome, Joseph Hansome and Perry Eugene Hansome. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary or Mt.
