SIMON-Mary Louise 89, beloved widow of Steve Simon (d.1993), and a loving mother and grandmother, lived most of her life in Pittsburgh, PA and Buffalo, NY. As a dedicated homemaker she especially enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling and during her seven years at Kendrick Ct. in Herndon, playing bingo with her many friends. She possessed a generous and enthusiastic spirit which was felt by all who knew her. Surviving are her children, Judith Ann (BGEN. Ret. Frank R.) Giordano of Monterey, CA, Stephen J. (Ann L.W.) Simon of Oakton, VA, Janice Simon of Athens, GA; a sister, Margie Frank of Pittsburgh, PA; six grandchildren, Amy Moellering, Meg Ruppert, Debbie Poe, Sam Giordano, Stephanie Simon-Dack, David Simon; eight great-grandchildren also survived. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St., Herndon, VA at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2007.
