SMITH, Mary LouiseOn October 10, 2014 our dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mary Louise Smith, passed away at 91 years of age. Mary will be remembered and missed by her loving husband of 66 years, David. Mary has been a gift of love to her five children, Barbara, Leslie, David (Kelly), Bruce and Mark (Vivian); 12 treasured and loved grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren; niece, Lorraine, nephews Bernie, Gary and Ronnie. Mary was predeceased by her beautiful sister, Barbara Jane Champagne. Mary lived in the Forest Heights Community for over 58 years. She was a trophy winning bowler and an active community member. Mary was a devoted Wife and Mother who enjoyed camping, cross-country skiing and even speed skated (in her younger years). We will never forget her wonderful sense of humour and her delicious chicken casserole!Mary lived her life with love, a sense of peace and a great deal of grace. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew and loved her. Husband David and family were blessed to have Mary for a whole extra year after she moved into Jubilee Lodge. We thank Dr. Yeung and his team and all the wonderful staff at Jubilee Lodge who attended to Mary in a caring and compassionate manner.Cremation has taken place and a family memorial will follow at a later date.
