Mary Louise Mills, age 86, of Springfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones Thursday, August 17, 2006, in her home. She was born July 21, 1920, the daughter of Richard and Ina Pickett. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, two sisters, Margaret Arnett and Johanna Earls, and both of her parents. Survivors include: two sons, Patrick Mills, and James Mills and wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Judith A. Guy and husband, Edward, and Merry Kay Workman and husband, Randy; five grandsons, Mark E. Guy, Steven J. Guy and wife, Tammy, Michael J. Mills and wife, Brenda, Jeffrey A. Mills and wife, Dorlece, and Sam D. Workman and wife, Allison; two granddaughters, Rebecka J. Nelson and husband, Willi, and Rachael R. Workman; 10 great-grandchildren; plus many beloved nieces and nephews of several generations and numerous dear family friends. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 19, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Hospice.
