JEFFERSONVILLE JACKSON, MARY LOUISE "LU," 73, passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 at her home. She was the former Mary Louise "Lu" Childers, a native of Louisville, KY, a retired office manager for Stewart's Dry Goods in Louisville, a member of Tri-Kappa Sorority, Fortnightly, a former secretary for the United Methodist Women's Southern District, an avid square and round dancer, an avid camper, known for her fried pies, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was active with the handbell choir. Survivors include her husband, William A. Jackson; one son, Don Jackson (Eileen), Louisville; two daughters, Barbara Hiller (David), Corydon, IN and Elizabeth Jackson, Windermere, FL; nine grandchildren, Bryan and Stephanie Jackson, Ashley and Matthew Clark, John Molden, Rachel and Dustin Hiller and Cole and Lauren Hobbs; two great- grandchildren, Gabe Mueller and Camyrn Hiller; three nieces; and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2796 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN, 47150. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., prior to the service. Arrangements are being handled by Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes. Memorial gifts: Trinity United Methodist Church Window Fund or Hospice of Southern Indiana.
