CARPENTER, MARY LOUISE, 97, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 surrounded by family. She was the former Mary Louise Ehrmann, a member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Carpenter Sr.; her son, William H. Carpenter; and her granddaughter, Debra Doan. She is survived by her sons, Donald Lee Carpenter (Kathy) and Frank C. Carpenter Jr. (Linda); and grandchildren, Jennifer Douglass and Scott, Cynthia, Kimberly, Travis and Christopher Carpenter; seven great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Sandy Carpenter. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Martyr Church, 2931 Pindell Ave., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Hwy, from 2 8 p.m. Tuesday.
