Mary Lou Steck Miller Oct. 25, 1947 Sept 3, 2014 Mary Lou Marie Steck Miller died Sept 3, 2014,from ovarian cancer at age 66 in Barrie. She will be sorely missed by family and friends who basked in her wit, wisdom and support. Her love and compassion was without bounds. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, on Oct. 25, 1947 she spent her first 17 years in Spencerville, Ont. Mary Lou lived most of her life in Toronto's west end before moving to Barrie in 2013. She was an avid golfer, a great fisherwoman, and she enjoyed entertaining, especially matching her wide knowledge of fine wines with her cooking. She was also a master at quizzes and games. She loved comedy, television dramas, live music, dancing, 3-D IMAX, nature and fine art. Her brother Jeff and wife Gail, nephew James, husband Dave, her cats (Zephyr and Opie) and her many friends and extended family feel great sorrow for the loss of a beautiful soul
