Mary-Lou Sanborn, born in 1940, spouse of Barry Sanborn, daughter of Bernard and Eleanor, died on October 10, 2011 at 70 years old. Please consult the obituary here:
Mary Lou (Quinlan) Sanborn age 70 years died in the Highgate Manor in Dedham, Massachusetts on Monday, October 10, 2011. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 23, 1940; she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Eleanor (Travaglia) Quinlan. She graduated from Trinity Catholic High School in Boston. Mrs. Sanborn has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1963. She worked as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Barry, whom she married in 1960. Mrs. Sanborn was a member of the Walpole Womens Club and served as a troop leader for her children in both the Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church and taught CCD there. She loved cooking, baking, and sewing. Beloved wife of the late Barry P. Sanborn. Loving mother of Barry P. Sanborn of Wilbraham, Hope B. Moriarty of Greer, SC, and Heather Q. Chauvin of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of 8. Sister of Patricia Tammaro, Eleanor Morrison, Margaret Ormberg, Ann Quinlan, Kathleen D'Aniello, Regina Cuff, Bernard Quinlan, the late Richard Quinlan, James Quinlan, William Quinlan, Michael Quinlan, Warren Quinlan, Charles Quinlan, Robert Quinlan, Christopher Quinlan, and John Quinlan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends were invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that was celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, October 14, 2011. Visiting hours were Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 4-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment was private.
