Mary Lou Pierce, 81, of Crane Lakes in Port Orange, passed away on April 19, 2008 at Daytona Beach Health & Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach. Mary was born on May 19, 1926 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Morgan in Smithville, Mississippi. After graduating high school, Mary married and devoted her life to her family as their homemaker, caring for her husband and raising her two sons. After the death of her husband, Albert A. Pierce, on March 20, 1999, she moved to this area to be closer to family. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her son, John R. Pierce and his wife, Christine of Ponce Inlet; her son, Richard A. Pierce and his wife, Terri of Anaheim Hills, California; her three grandsons, Joseph, Zachary and Brandon; her beloved niece, Dottie Sobott of Federal Heights, Colorado and several other nieces and nephews.
