Mary Lou Masse, 78, Port Orange and formerly of Palmetto, died March 22, 2005.She was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Greenville, S.C. She was a member of AMVETS Post 276 in Middletown, Pa., and Women in Military Service. She served in the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps.Survivors include a sister, Ruth Fleenor of North Carolina; brothers Joel T. Miller of Lakeland and Paul R. Miller of Seneca, S.C.; nieces Martha A. Sanford of Port Orange and Shelba Corbin of Virginia; a nephew, Darryl Hunter of Ormond Beach; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Burial will be Tuesday in Middletown. Kicliter Funeral Home in Palmetto is in charge.
