Mary L. "Leigh" Marshall BLOUNTSTOWN - Mary Leona "Leigh" Marshall, 37, who was a sergeant for the Department of Corrections in Blountstown for 12 years, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004. The service will be at 11 a.m. CDT Monday at First Baptist Church in Blountstown, with burial at Page Pond Cemetery in Altha.Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. CDT today at Peavy Funeral Home (850-674-2266). She was born in Adel, Ga., and had lived in Calhoun County for the past 14 years. Leigh was a Protestant. Survivors include two sons, Devon Rabon and Julian Jackson "Jay" Shiver Jr., both of Altha; a daughter, Maura Shiver of Altha; her mother, Martha June Berry of Blountstown; her father and stepmother, William and Lucille Pierce of Brooksville, Ga.; a brother, William W. Pierce of Hilliard; two sisters, Debbie Fletcher of Enigma, Ga., and Sherry Cardwell of Perry.
