Mary Spears Elrod Lee, 80, died Friday, October 19, 2007.She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Simpson and Clara Spears Elrod.Mrs. Lee was a faithful member of Fourth Presbyterian Church and a retired Elementary School Librarian of the Greenville County School System.She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joseph Earle Lee; three sons, Joseph Earle Lee Jr. and his wife Manning of Pawleys Island, Thomas E. Lee and his wife Mary of Georgetown, and James S. Lee and his wife Lisa of Greenville; two daughters, Peggy Wolff and her husband Don of Pawleys Island and Mary Ann Geney and her husband David of Pawleys Island; seven grandchildren, Jason Lee, Cameron Ulrich, Meghan Lee, Rachel Lee, David Geney, Anna Geney and Caroline Geney and one great-granddaughter, McClaine Ulrich.Interment will be private and a memorial service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church with visitation at the church following the service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Ministries, 606 Pendleton St., Greenville, SC 29601The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
