LEE- Mary Lee of Surrey, BC and formerly of Assiniboia, SK. passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007 in New Westminster, BC at the age of 81 years. In 1939, her husband George came to Assiniboia to work at the Club Cafe, in 1948 the Texas Cafe was purchased, in 1952 Mary came to Canada and joined her husband in the operation of the Texas Cafe. She is survived by her eight loving children John, Marianne (David), Frank, Florence (Cliff), Tina, Jean (Richard), Bill and Melanne. She was predeceased by her husband George, son Sandy and daughter Helen. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 P.M. at Piche-Hawkins-Grondin Funeral Chapels, Assiniboia, SK. with Pastor Greg Dermody officiant. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, SK. Memorial Tributes in Mary's memory may be made to British Columbia Kidney Foundation.
