LARSON, Mary Elizabeth (Cabrine, Liz) (nee Cooke)Passed away suddenly at 65 years of age at home in Harrow on February 11, 2012, the morning after a joyful evening celebrating the day her and her husband Dale met 45 years ago at a dance at Middlesex College, University of Western Ontario - each other's only love "as gold beaten to feathery thinness." Full of compassion, she was beloved nurse "Cookie" for 37 years at Hotel Dieu hospital and Royal Oak in Kingsville, jlwho was quick to befriend those in need. Loving mother of five children, Brendon and wife Karolyne (Guelph), Mary Rie and fiancé Jean-Paul (Ottawa), Sacha and husband Rob (Harrow), Michaila and partner George (Oakville), and Tamara (waiting for true love, Abbotsford). Caring Oma for three grandchildren, Larson, Bella and Kyra. Dear sister of Ann Marie and husband Rod, Rosemary and husband Paul, and Michael and wife Donna. Also missed by Dale's brother Dean, sister Faye and husband Art, and many others she has touched. We miss her so and cherish the seeds of compassion and humour she sowed in us. Everyone is invited to the Memorial celebration on Thursday at the Portuguese Club, 390 Sinasac Ave West in Harrow from 3-7 p.m. with an informal ceremony at 6 p.m. Donations can be made in her name to the Downtown Mission, 664 Victoria Ave, Windsor, N9A 4N2. Online condolences can be made to www.geraldasmith.com .
