Mary L. Washburn of Harpursville Mary L. Washburn, 84, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Wilson Hospital. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence and Sally Ann Washburn of Harpursville, William and Dorothy Washburn of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Cynthia Pond of Waverly; 11 grandchildren, Robert and Karey, Jennifer and Brian, Sarah and Joseph, Mike and Melissa, Ashley, Stacey, William, Keith and Kathy, Daryl and Sheri, Andrea, Brad; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Clara and Marvin Daily of Texas. She was a retired employee of the Binghamton Psychiatric Center. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1&#58;00 p.m. at the Wm. R. Chase &amp; Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, with Rev. Michael C. Rowe, Pastor of Harpursville Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery.
