She was born on Feb. 8, 1926 in James Island, SC, the daughter of the late, Rufus and Sarah Chisolm. She was married to the late Arthur Davis and was a homemaker taking care of her family. She resided in West Hartford, CT, for 22 years before relocating to Tampa in July 2014. Mary enjoyed word puzzles, bingo, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her large family. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Union Baptist Church in Hartford, CT. Survived by her loving family and friends. She was loved by all. Gathering will be held on Friday Dec. 12, from 3-4 pm, with a funeral service at 4 pm, at Brewer and Sons Funeral Home S. Tampa, (813)835-4991.
