MARY L. COLEMAN VALPARAISO, IN Mary L. Coleman, 68, of Valparaiso formerly of Hammond passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. She was born July 19, 1945 in Hammond to Fred and Helen Robenhorst. Mary graduated from Hammond High School. She had worked in the Title Department of Smith Chevrolet in Hammond for over 30 years and was formerly a member of First United Methodist Church in Hammond. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother who also enjoyed curling up with a good book, golfing, attending a stage production at Munster Theater for the Arts, tending to an animal or helping her fellow man. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Chris) Evon of Valparaiso; one grandson, Christopher Evon; her former husband, Joseph Coleman; and many loving nieces and nephews: Diane Randolph, Dayle Morelli, Darlene Creviston, Dawn Creviston, Jennifer Schultz, Michael Schlundt, Angie Farmer, Sarah Rudelius, Katie Rudelius, Joseph Peters, Nick Peters, Autumn Smith, Paul Roberts, and Diana Robb. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Joan Creviston; and two brothers; Daniel and Richard Robenhorst. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso with Rev. Dan Richwine officiating.
