Mary (Marian) Klein Utica Mary Klein, 95, of Utica, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Folts Home, Herkimer, NY. Mary was born on April 19, 1916, in Clayville, NY, the daughter of Stanley and Victoria (Klosowska) Zalewski. In 1942, she married Joseph Klein. They enjoyed 44 years of marriage prior to his death in 1986. Mary was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Surviving are three sisters, Phyllis Vashio and Estelle Pawlings, both of Utica, and Helen Baker, Sherrill; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Chester and Freda Zalewski, Marcy, and Joseph and Catherine Zalewski, Utica; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by one sister, Jean Wiklacz, and four brothers-in-law, James Vashio, Max Pawlings, Dolph Baker and Louis Wiklacz. Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Utica, with entombment in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum to follow. There are no calling hours.
