WEEKS Mary "Kasi" Kay Weeks, 66, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 01, 2006. Kasi was born on September 19, 1939 in Kane, Pennsylvania to Malcolm Joseph Adams and Mary Kathryn DeViney-Adams. Kasi was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. During her 31 years of employee service at Shands Jacksonville Hospital as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, she made many life long friends and retired in 1995. She was passionate about her grandchildren, her crafts, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kasi is survived by her loving son, Adam "Joey" Joseph Weeks of Jacksonville, FL; 2 loving grandsons, Malcolm J. Weeks and Joshua A. Weeks of Jacksonville, FL; "Aunt" Maryne Black of Knox, Pennsylvania; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will have a gathering to greet friends and celebrate Kasi's life from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday, February 6, 2006 at Hardage-Giddens Blanding Funeral Home Chapel (5753 Blanding Blvd.) Jacksonville, FL. 32244. Kasi's wishes were to be cremated, to have a celebration of her life with family and friends, and for everyone to remember the memorable times they have shared with her and her family. In lieu of flowers you may send memorials to Northeast Florida Community Hospice (4266 Sunbeam Rd. Jacksonville, Fl. 32257) in memory of Mary "Kasi" Kay Weeks.
