Obituary of Mary-Kathryn Carter

CARTER, MARY KATHRYN, 77, of Louisville, entered into rest Wednesday, September 19, 2007. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Jefferson County Public School System and was a member of the VFW Ladies Aux #5421. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Shirley (Gary) and Teresa Weber (Kenny); her son, Larry Carter (Mildred "Mimie"); a sister, Betty Wilson; a brother, Bill Doyle; her grandchildren, Lisa Griggs (Kevin), Steven Shirley (Melody), Lori Frost (Jamie), Amy Rock (Jason), Adam and Alex Weber, Chad Leake, Melissa Settles (Nathan) and Crystal Carter; and 10 great- grandchildren. Services will be noon on Saturday at Hardy Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Expressions can be made to American Lung Association, or Hospice and Palliative of Louisville.
