Mary Katherine Brown, 89, Myakka City, died Feb. 10, 2004. She was born Aug. 28, 1914, in Nashville, Tenn., and came to Myakka City in 1984 from Central City, Ky. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include a daughter, Lois Flynn of Myakka City; sons Robert of Tampa and William of Pensacola; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton Chapel, is in charge.
