DEPAUW - Adams, Mary Katherine, 90, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at her home. She was born March 23, 1920 at Rockport, IN to the late Harry M. and Cordia M. Gurtz Bush, a homemaker and a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, Ramsey. She was preceded in death by a son, David Adams; twin sister at birth, Annette L. Bush; and stepsiblings, Olive Rae Kinder, Helen Darcy, William Churchill, Cletis Pinaire, Robert Churchill, Carl R. Churchill, Keith Churchill. Surviving are her husband, Daniel F. Adams; sons, Danny Adams (Susan), of Orleans, IN, Mark Adams (Kim), of Chattanooga, TN, John Adams (Sandy), of Depauw and Joe Adams (Nancy) of Depauw; daughters, Sue Fessel (Max), of Depauw, Ann Baker (Jesse), of Depauw, Sheila McIntyre (Bill), of Georgetown, IN, Louetta Roll (Rick) of Salem, IN, Linda Swaney of Depauw, Lura Byrd (Jerry) of Georgetown and Jane Whittaker (Ronald), of Depauw; sister, Annette Fouts, of Corydon, IN; half sister, Judith Thomas (Terry), of Corydon; step sister, Mary Lou Howerton, of Corydon; 31 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery, Depauw. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
