Mary K. Wiggins, age 74, passed away at the Custead Care Center of Haven Hospice in Orange Park on Sept. 13, 2013.Mary was born in Jacksonville, Fla., to William and Beatrice Snider. She lived most of her life in Jacksonville until she moved to St. Augustine 30 years ago. Mary worked as a secretary for the Duval County School Board. She was also a parishioner of the Cathedral Basilica Parish and devoted member of the Legion of Mary. Mary also had a love of animals. Her home was also home to her many cats and dogs. She is survived by two brothers, James D. Snider of Jacksonville, Fla., and Dr. Michael T. Snider and his wife Diane of Hershey, Pa. Her husband Jack Von Wiggins passed away in 1998.Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Thursday at the Cathedral Basilica followed by burial at San Lorenzo Cemetery.Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
