Mary K. Stephens, 80, Sarasota, died Oct. 29, 2005. She was born Jan. 20, 1925, in East Chicago,Ind., and came to Sarasota in 1958 from Ambia, Ind. She was a medical secretary at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She was a member of T.O.P.S. of Sarasota and was active at First Presbyterian Church USA, where she was a member. Survivors include her husband, Gilbert; daughters Mary Mead of North Port and Ruth of Butler, Tenn.; sisters Gizella Kudla of Crown Point, Ind., and Martha Kaszarda of Hammond, Ind.; and a grandchild.
