Mary K. Goodwin LIMA, PA - Mary K. Goodwin, 92, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Lima, PA, surrounded by her loving family. She was also a former resident of Fairless Hills, PA, and the Morrisville Presbyterian Towers. Mary was born and raised in Trenton, NJ, attended St.Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church and graduated with the Cathedral High School Class of '38. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and she imparted those values to her children. She was employed by Kudra Furs, occasionally modeling furs for the company and worked with the USO during World War II. She was later employed with the Lenox Giordano law firm as a legal secretary and worked in the rectory at St. Francis Cabrini Church. She loved music, bragging about her children and grandchildren, watching "The Price is Right" and Phillies baseball. She was an avid rummy and scrabble player and enjoyed trips to the casinos. Most importantly, her favorite pastime was cheering for the kids at their sporting events. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Mary Kostrub Konnyu and Frank Konnyu; her brother, Michael Konnyu; sister, Madeline Mraw, and her former husband, James T. Hahn. Mary is survived by her eight children: Kathleen Moffett, Media, PA, Janet Raccosta and husband, Fred, Newtown,PA, Ted Hahn, Hialeigh, FL, Thomas Hahn, Cocoa, FL, Will Hahn, Franklinville, NC, Robert Hahn and wife, Cheryl, Menifee, CA, Michael Hahn, Indianapolis, IN, Timothy Hahn, Deerfield, NH, as well as her brother, John Konnyu and wife, Fran, of Lawrenceville, NJ, and cousin, Peter Konnyu and wife, Dot, Morrisville,PA. Mary is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Brian (Hahn) Dugan, Jennifer Hahn, Karen Salladino, Patty Corbett, Christy Devlin, Keith Hahn, Angela Braden, Michelle Hahn and Nicholas, Natalie, and Olivia Raccosta, as well as her five beloved great-grandsons, Lance, Cole, Ryan, Justin and Oliver, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Morrisville, PA, on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's name to the USO, PO Box 96860, Washington, DC 20090, specify New Jersey Chapter.
