NEW ALBANY ANDERSON, MARY K., passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008. She was a graduate of Shawnee Girls School and of the University of Kentucky. She was retired from Glenmore Distillers and program director for the USO. Mrs. Anderson was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Red Cross Disaster Team and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Deal. Survivors include her husband, J.E. Anderson; two sons, Todd Anderson (Shawna), of Louisville and Tim Anderson (Michelle), of Houston, TX; one brother, James Etheridge, of Louisville; and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville (1119 E. Market St. New Albany, IN 47150). Burial will be private. Visitation will be 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crusade for Children or the American Red Cross.
