<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->12/18/1922 - 10/26/2014 Mrs. Mary Julia Henderson, age 91, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on October 26, 2014, following the death of her son, Dwayne Shepperd Henderson, on March 9, 2014. Mary Julia Henderson completed nursing school then went on to serve others in the nursing profession. She served in the US Army as a nurse during WWII. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Confederacy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Martin Henderson and son, Dwayne Shepperd Henderson. She is survived by her daughters, Angela H. Linn (Alan), Julie Ann Henderson, son, Jack Martin Henderson (Malinda), and grandchildren, Mary Shanone Emmack (Shawn), Audra Linn Logan (Sean), Ashley Ann Piper, Casey Martin Henderson and Megan Elizabeth Henderson. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 28, at 2 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens.
