ALBANY Mary Joyce Wright passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. on July 27, 1938 to the late James and Thressa Mae Stuart. She is survived by four sons, Brian (Linda) of Charlotte, N.C., Bruce, Byron and Darryle Wright; one daughter, Sonya Wright; and two special grandchildren that she raised as her own, Alfredo and Tasheen Wright, all of Albany. Her husband, Melvin J. Wright and daughter, Pamela Wright preceded her in death. Funeral service Tuesday 12:00 noon at Walls Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 27 Delaware St., Albany, N.Y. Rev. Avery Comithier officiating. Calling hours 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the church prior to the service. Interment, Graceland Cemetery.
