She had lived in Jackson for several years.Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Ward Johnson on May 2, 2012 and to whom she was married on November 15, 1946.She leaves two daughters, Yvonne Brown and husband Robert of Louisville, KY, and Lori Igo of Apalachin, NY; a son, Fred Johnson and wife Peggie of Jackson, TN; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Lettie Edwards and Margaret Bull.No services are planned at this time.Mary Joyce Johnson was a kind, wonderful, devoted lady who will remain in the hearts of family and friends.Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, (731) 424-2424.
