JOHNSON Mary Eleanor (nee Bagnoli) passed peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2007 at Palisade Medical Center in North Bergen. Mary was a resident of Cliffside Park and a former resident of North Bergen and Florida. Mary spent 102 years on this earth and was only recently incapacitated. She was born in Jersey City and had been a Secretary for the Thomas C. Wilson Company Tool & Die Manufacturers. She is preceded in death by her husband William F. Johnson who died in 1990. William had been a former pro Baseball and Basketball star and was one of the first inducted into the Baseball New Jersey Hall of Fame. He was a former Hudson County Policeman.A daughter Maureen Lombardi also preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter Lynne Johnson and a son William F. and his wife Mary Jo and grandchildren Steven and Karen Lombardi, Gregg, Deneen, Melissa and David Ray and four great grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be on Tuesday at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park where friends may call from 10:30 AM. A Religious Service will take place at 11 AM. Her cremation has already taken place.
