Obituary of Mary-Jo Brown


MARY JO BROWN of BinghamtonMary Jo Brown went to be with the Lord April 18, 2001. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Brown Sr.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and David Markoff, Kirkwood, Brenda and Donald Lee, Thompson, Pa., Becky and Brian White, Susquehanna, Pa.; step son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diane Brown Jr.; step daughter, Debbie Sisson; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Basil Mushala, N.C., Debra and Duane Goga, Binghamton; brothers, Richard Powers, Binghamton, Thomas Powers, Florida and Frank Powers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Robert and Nancy Brown, Binghamton, Louie and Bert Brown, Windsor, Punky and Dean Benedict, Windsor and Jane Nichols; 17 grandchildren; several nieces nephews and cousins; special friends, Mary Powers and Ralph Shaylor; special Uncle, Thomas Lyden; also many dear friends including Beverly. She was employed by Dovatron for 14 years. She was an avid reader. Mary Jo's grandchildren were the light of her life. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Wm. R. Chase and Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Susquehanna Pa. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
