TUSCALOOSA Mary Jane Miller, age 53, of Tuscaloosa, died June 27, 2007, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Derek Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Cemetery with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Her twin brother, Joseph Mitchell Powell, her father, Persinger Winfield Powell, her mother, Evelyn Mitchell Powell, and her mother-in-law, Rebecca Eva Miller, preceded her in death.Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward Miller of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; son, Clint Winfield Miller of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sisters, Judy P. Savage of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Jackie Chambers of Foley, Ala.Jane was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a registered nurse at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center for 31 years. Jane loved her job caring for our nation's veterans. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. We find great comfort knowing that she is in her heavenly home.Pallbearers will be John A. Savage, IV, Robert Turner, Jeff Bean, Ken Smith, William Bean, Mike Bowles, Chris Hughes and Vernon Williams.Honorary pallbearers are the staff of DCH Cancer Treatment Center, Dr. Hinton, Kristi Acker, Dr. Skelton, Heath Amick, Kenny Bowles, John Curry, and the staff and retirees of Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center.
