Obituary of Mary-I. Miller


HERSEY, MARY IDA Mary I. Hersey of Riverview and formerly of Springfield, York Co., NB passed away November 25, 2005 at Lakeview Manor, Riverview, NB. Born in 1917 at Caverhill, NB, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Cunningham) Miller. Mary attended Provincial Normal School and then taught school for twenty-five years. Mary is survived by three sisters, Madeline Carter, Riverview, Mildred Dunn, Springfield and Evelyn Carter, Vegreville, Alberta; three foster daughters, Crystal Pomeroy, British Columbia, Holly Pomeroy and Lorraine Delyzer, both of Ontario; three foster sons, Blake Pomeroy, Ontario, Barry Pomeroy, Manitoba and Danny McCutcheon, Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil E. Hersey and three brothers, Edward, Eldon and Walter Miller. Visiting hours were held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Sunday. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Charles O'Regan officiating assisted by Rev. George Clark. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment later at Upper Caverhill Cemetery.
