She graduated from Nyack High School and attended both Rockland and Orange Community Colleges.Widowed by Richard A. Alexander, Sr., she leaves behind son Richard A. Alexander, Jr. of Saratoga Springs, NY; 2 daughters, Nikkol and Jennifer, both of Middletown, NY; a daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anne Wimberly of West Nyack, NY, Linda Barnes of Haverstraw, NY and brother, Arnold Batts, also of Haverstraw, NY, and many other family and friends.Visitation will take place on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 10 AM until 12 noon at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 80 No. Franklin St., Nyack, NY. A Homegoing Service will be held at 12 noon Friday at the Church.
