Service for Mary Inman Hendricks, 90, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel at the Episcopal Home at Still Hopes, 100 Still Hopes Drive, West Columbia, with burial in Elmwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Carolina Episcopal Home at Still Hopes, P.O. Box 2959, West Columbia, 29171 or First Baptist Church, 1306 Hampton St., Columbia, SC 29201 or to a charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends following the burial until 7 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hendricks, 5 Possum Run, Columbia. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is in charge. Mrs. Hendricks, wife of the late Lloyd Hendricks, died Saturday, July 20, 2002. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Judge E. Inman and Margaret Schiffley Inman. She was graduated from G.W.C. Furman University with a major in music and a specialty in violin. During her senior year, she was May queen and president of PanHellenic Council. Mrs. Hendricks was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Afternoon Music Club, the Gardenia Garden Club and the Home Arts Club. She played the violin with the Columbia Philharmonic during the first years of its organization. Surviving are daughter, Mary Ellen Turner of Salisbury, N.C.; son, Lloyd Inman Hendricks of Columbia; sisters, Caroline Crain of Travelers Rest, Margaret Robertson of Greer, Sarah Rivers of Greenwood and Essie Pearl Spearman of Columbia; grandchildren, Ellen Robinson Turner of Atlanta, Ga., Alexander Knapp Turner of Winston-Salem, N.C., Randolph Turner IV of Aspen, Colo., Lloyd Inman Hendricks Jr. of Myrtle Beach and James Christian Hendricks of Columbia; and great-grandson, Campbell Alexander Turner of Winston-Salem, N.C.
