HARRIS, Sister Mary, CSJ (Sister Anna Catherine) Sister Mary Harris entered into her eternal rest at Mount St. Joseph, Peterborough, Ontario on Friday, September 7th, 2007, in her 62nd year of her religious life. She was the daughter of Peter Harris and his wife Helena Martelock of Ottawa, Ontario. Along with the members of her religious community, she leaves to mourn her one brother, Bernard from Ottawa, Ontario and three sisters, Margaret O'Donnell (John) of Cloyne, Ontario, Betty Leger (Michel) of Ottawa, Ontario and Sister Helen Harris of Mount St. Joseph, Peterborough, Ontario as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her brothers George, James, John, Peter and William. Sister Mary received her education in Ottawa, Ontario. During her many years in the Congregation, she served in dietary and household services at St. Ceilias's Convent in Peterborough, Kirkfield, Parry Sound, Cobourg and Wainwright. She was also involved in pastoral services in Wainwright and Port Hope. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Mount St. Joseph, Peterborough, Ontario on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 10:30 am. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, Peterborough.
