Mary H. Rice Anderson - GARDEN CITY - Mary H. Rice Anderson, 91, of Garden City passed away on Friday December 7, 2007 at Hospice of Savannah. Mary was retired from the Chatham County Board of Education as a secretary at Hubert Middle School. For 12 years after her retirement she was a volunteer in the gift shop at Candler Hospital. She was an active member of Chapel-In-The-Gardens Presbyterian Church, PCA, in Garden City. She is survived by two sons, Lloyd N. (Sandra) Rice of Garden City and Charlie M. (Carline) Rice, Jr. of Port Wentworth; a daughter, Catherine Rice McCall of Houston, TX; a sister, Anne Harris Mills, Lanexa, VA; a brother, Clarence N. Harris, California; three half-brothers, Charles Johnson, West Point, VA, Gustavus Johnson, Virginia Beach, VA and Joseph Johnson of California; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Sunday December 9, 2007 at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Services: 11 A.M. Monday December 10, 2007 at Chapel-In-The-Gardens Presbyterian Church PCA in Garden City.
