<!-- FH = Feldhaus Memorial Chapel 931-684-8356 -->Mary Gray LeeMrs. Mary Gray Lee, age 96 of Bell Buckle, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the home after a brief illness.She was born October 24, 1916, in Bell Buckle, TN and was a life long resident of Bedford County. She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. Coop and Sophia Todd Coop; her husband, Bert Lee in 1990; her daughter, Mary Jo Lee Brinkmann in 2000, and four sisters, Ruberta Bomar, Thelma Wojchowski, Sophia Coop Brothers and Emma Bell Hudson.Mary Lee graduated form Bell Buckle High School and attended David Lipscomb College. She worked in fashion merchandising in both The French Shoppe in Murfreesboro and Carolyn's in Shelbyville for over fifty years.She held membership in the Woman's Club in Shelbyville, Home Demonstration Club, and Farm Bureau Women. She participated in two choral groups, and was a long time of the Bell Buckle Church of Christ.She loved people, especially her family, and always saw the good in others. She was a great cook and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends in her home. In later years, she loved spending time at home and working in her flowers.Mary Gray is survived by her son-in-law, Robert (Bob) Brinkmann; nieces and nephews, Dr. Shirley Brothers LaRoche, John Neil Bomar III, Winston Brothers, Sara Dell Bomar Horton, Lynda Wojchowski Walker, and Christy Hudson; and nine great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.Mary Gray Lee left her family the legacy of her beautiful life of Love, Service, Kindness, and Dignity.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Bob Young and Bob Brinkmann will officiate, with burial to follow in Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle.
