Obituary of Mary-Grace Hull


Mary Grace Whitmire Hull, age 85, of 810 Ploma Drive, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at Mariner Health Care Center. Born in Oconee County on Aug. 18, 1915, Mrs. Hull, a retired administrative assistant with J.P. Stevens Co. She was as member of Westminster Baptist Church, Ladies Adult Sunday School Class, member of the D.A.R., Lazy Daisy Garden Club and the Oconee Museum Association. Survivors include a stepson and daughter-in-law, James S. and Louise Hull of Greenwood; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Bill Mays of Clemson; four stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by husband, Harold Sullivan Hull; parents, James Dillard and Minnie Patterson Whitmire; brother, Edgar J. Whitmire; and sisters, Mallie and Glana Whitmire. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, April 14, 2001, from the chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster, with Dr. Randy Keasler officiating. Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park. The body is at Sandifer Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today, one hour prior to the service. The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Westminster Baptist Church, P.O. Box 375, Westminster, SC 29693.
