Welch and Fannie Lou Joiner Welch in Crenshaw County, AL. She had resided in the Century area since 1966.The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Flomaton Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hart and grandsons, Rev. Chris Carroll and Jeff Carroll officiating.Mrs. Godwin was a devoted wife and loving mother to her family. As a pastor's wife, she has been 'Mom' and 'Grandma' to many of her extended church family. She was a generous lady who always made sure others needs were met before her own. She modeled the life of a Christian woman in several different churches and was a member of Gospel Light Temple.Mrs.Godwin is survived by five sons, Frank Godwin, Jerry (Linda) Godwin, Wayne (Paulette) Godwin, Dan (Enola) Godwin all of Century, FL and Randall (Tammy) Godwin of Murfreesboro, TN; one daughter, Barbara (Aubrey) Carroll of Westville, FL. She has modeled the life of a loving Grandmother to fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.Mrs. Godwin was preceded in death by six brothers, five sisters, husband, Rev.
