DONOVAN, MARY GENEVA, 79, of Louisville passed from this life Thursday September 24, 2009 at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Mary Rouse, a native of Alabama and a Catholic by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill J. Donovan; and daughters, Mary Thorpe and Teresa Donovan. She is survived by her daughters, Janis Thorpe (Kevin) and Lynn Burba (Jimmy); sons, William Donovan (Kristen) and Doug Donovan; sisters, Joan Carr, Vivian Bigler, Lavern Harder and Cindy Webster; and seven grandchildren. A celebration of Mary's life will be held noon Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is after 9:30 a.m. Monday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Wayside Christian Mission.
