CARTER, MARY GALE, 87, of Louisville, died Saturday, January 7, 2006, at Rockford Manor Nursing Home. She was the former Mary Gale Dodds, a native of Luray, TN, and a member of New Salem Church of God. She was preceeded in death by her husband, William C. Carter; and son, Paul Dean Carter. Survivors include her children, James E.Carter, William C. Carter, David L. Carter and Marilyn Keenan; one brother, Ernest Dodds; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
