Mary Dorothy Graham Short, 90, of 303 Miller Road, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Williston, N.D., a daughter of the late Tilden David and Molly Blankenship Graham, Mrs. Short was a retired beautician, and also retired from the Arlington School System in Columbus, Ohio. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry G. and Opal Thompson of Greer; three grandchildren, Steven Thompson, Kevin Thompson, and his wife, Melody, and Scott Thompson, and his wife, Lynne; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Short was predeceased by her first husband, Garrett Thompson, and by three brothers and five sisters. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown Easley, with the Rev. Toni Pate officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. The family is at the home of Jerry and Opal Thompson, 103 Governors Square, Greer.
