Obituary of Mary-G. Mitchell


MITCHELL Mary G. Mitchell, age 87, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Theodore Mitchell, died November 29, 2003, at the Cambridge Manor Health Care Center, Fairfield, following a long illness. Born In Bridgeport, on September 8, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Antonio P. and Grace Mary Pappano Riccio. Mrs. Mitchell was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport and a retired employee of Dresser Industries. She is survived by her devoted nieces and nephews: Pamela Riccio-Musante of Monroe, Arlene Riccio of California, Barbara Meuser of Milford, Anthony Riccio of Florida and Bruce Riccio of Georgia; sisters-in-law: Frances Riccio of Bridgeport and Lillian Riccio of Milford; as well as several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers: Anthony, Matthew and Daniel Riccio; and a sister, Josephine Nocero. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at 10 a.m. from the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, (Route 111), Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ambrose Church, 1596 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
