->MERCER -- Mary G. "Geri" Dwyer, 69, of Mercer passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, in Waterville.She was born June 24, 1939, in Canonsburg, Pa., the daughter of Stephen L. and Rose (Pallet) Cancilla.She graduated from Canonsburg High School in the class of 1957; she then attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Fla.She married Mitchell Dwyer on Jan. 2, 1962, in Lincoln, Neb.She spent many years as a mother and a homemaker. She loved to cook, enjoyed reading, she loved raising her three daughters and she loved her religion.She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mitchell of Mercer; her three daughters, Melissa Oprendek and her husband, John, of Waterville, Michele Trevino and her husband, Alex, of Pittsburgh, and Mellori Worthen and her husband, Jonas, of Mercer; two grandchildren, Isabella and Andrew; one sister, Patricia Lyons of Washington, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her mother and father and one sister, Sandy Monyak.Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan. A funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
